Responding to Keir Starmer’s interview on Radio 5 Live, Liberal Democrat Deputy Leader Daisy Cooper MP said:
“The public are crying out for change but so far this Labour government has been too scared of its own shadow to deliver it.
“The Government is tinkering around the edges instead of fixing the big issues facing the country.
"Keir Starmer needs to show far more ambition when it comes to cutting energy bills, fixing the crisis in the NHS and care and rebuilding our ties with Europe."
