NHS recovery forum: How many more patients need to needlessly die?

Responding to the Prime Minister holding his NHS recovery forum, Liberal Democrat Health spokesperson Daisy Cooper said: 

"How many more meetings does the PM need to hold before he decides to actually do something? How many more patients need to needlessly die? 

"The time for action is now. Right now, today, the PM could declare a national critical incident and release all of the funding to discharge fit hospitals patients into social care. 

"Rishi Sunak might prefer to hide behind his desk than tackle the NHS crisis head on, but there’s no getting away from it. Today he is going to hear some home truths about the true horrors facing patients and NHS staff on the front-time."
