Mid-Beds date set: Villages across the constituency are turning to the Liberal Democrats

Responding to the date being set for the Mid-Bedfordshire by-election on 19th October, Liberal Democrat Deputy Leader Daisy Cooper MP said: 

"Communities across Mid-Bedfordshire now have the opportunity to elect a strong local champion after years of being taken for granted by an absent-Conservative MP. 

"This Conservative Government has badly let down Bedfordshire, with GP appointments almost impossible to come by, sewage being pumped into rivers and mortgages spiralling. It is time for change in Mid-Bedfordshire and only the Liberal Democrats can win in this former Conservative heartland. Villages across the constituency are turning to the Liberal Democrats to oust this tired and out of touch Conservative party.
