Kidlington Waste Dump: "Every penny must be recovered" from those responsible

Responding to the news that two men have been arrested as part of an investigation into the dumping of thousands of tonnes of rubbish in a field in Kidlington, Liberal Democrat MP for Bicester & Woodstock Calum Miller said:

"This type of crime shows complete disregard for nature and the local community.

"With a clean-up bill totalling nearly £10 million, the Government must ensure the polluters pay - not the taxpayer.

"Every penny must be recovered from those responsible while the Environment Agency gets on with clearing this blight on our countryside immediately."
