IFS SEND provision report: Immediate action is needed

Responding to the IFS report on the crisis in SEND provision, Lib Dem Education Spokesperson Munira Wilson MP said:

"This report shows the scale of the crisis facing SEND provision, a shameful legacy of years of Conservative neglect.

"Without immediate action, this crisis will only spiral further, with more children and their families suffering, and more local authorities driven to the brink.

"As the IFS make clear, large scale reform is urgently needed. That's why we are calling for a new National Body for SEND, so that proper supports can reach the children that desperately need them."
