Hunt's budget set to be "more hot air and no real or urgent help"

Responding to Jeremy Hunt's appearance on the Sunday morning political shows, Liberal Democrat Treasury Spokesperson Sarah Olney MP said: 

“With no commitment to cut energy bills, Jeremy Hunt’s budget looks set to be more hot air and no real or urgent help for families and pensioners across the nation. 

“Conservative Ministers have trashed our economy, making it harder for people to get on in life. They are either so out of touch they don’t get it or so heartless, they just don’t care. 

“Millions of people deserve a fair deal, a cut to energy bills and real investment in our health service, but right now they’re being short-changed by this Chancellor.”
