GDP figures a result of two “growth-crushing” budgets, say Lib Dems

Responding to figures showing there was zero growth in January, Daisy Cooper MP, Liberal Democrat Treasury Spokesperson, said:
”This is the result of two anti-growth budgets. But it’s only if we get Britain growing again that we can end the cost of living crisis.
“With Trump’s illegal attacks on Iran set to make the cost of living crisis even worse, the Chancellor must take up our pro-growth proposals for a UK-EU customs union and a u-turn on her growth-crushing jobs tax.”
