Davey: We need a General Election now

Liberal Democrat Leader Ed Davey has called for a General Election to end the ongoing Conservative chaos after Robert Jenrick's resignation last night. Liberal Democrat Leader Ed Davey said:

“The Conservative Party is stuck in a vicious cycle of chaos and failure.

“While Conservative infighting goes on, NHS waiting lists continue to soar, people struggle to see their GP and can’t afford their bills. 

“The Conservative Party cannot govern themselves anymore, let alone this great country.

“The Prime Minister is completely out of touch, out of ideas and out of excuses. It’s time for a General Election to end this Conservative chaos now."
