Wilkinson: “Labour's red lines on the EU” holding back PM's freedom of movement ‘openness’
Responding to Andy Burnham's “openness” to look at freedom of movement as part of any negotiations with the EU, Max Wilkinson MP, Liberal Democrat Home Affairs Spokesperson, said:
"What's stopping the PM having an open and honest discussion on freedom of movement? Labour’s red lines on the EU.
"Removing those arbitrary barriers won't just allow the PM to grow the economy. They will also mean he can join us in calling for the only serious plan to stop the small boat crossings by joining the EU Migration and Asylum Pact."
