IMF's damning verdict show's Govt have failed on economy

Responding to the IMF's report that downgraded its forecasts for UK growth next year from 2% to 1.6%, Liberal DemocratTreasury spokesperson Sarah Olney MP said:
“The IMF’s damning verdict confirms that this Conservative Government is mismanaging our economy in the worst way, condemning the UK to years of sluggish growth.
“For all the Prime Ministers and Chancellors that have changed, the Conservative party’s failed approach to our economy has stayed the same.
“This Conservative Government is a disaster for our economy and needs to leave Downing Street before even more damage is done.”
