Paul Hartshorn

Paul was born in Wigston and has lived in or close by the constituency all is life.

After attending school locally he joined Premier Drum in Wigston on the governments YTS programme. In 2008 he established his now thriving Business Consultancy and IT support company which has its HQ in Blaby and employs local staff.

Elected as a District councillor in 2019 Paul quickly won a reputation as a determined hard working and outspoken local councillor. He was re-elected in 2023 securing 60% of the vote.

A regular presenter on Harborough FM Paul is an active supporter of mission:foodbank helps organise Glastonblaby, a local charity music festival and is active in numerous other community organisations.

Paul wants to use his expertise in supporting high quality manufacturing companies to shape legislation and regulation which will deliver high quality jobs and economic growth.
