Rowan Fitton

Rowan is a committed activist who is a strong voice for progressive liberal values and for the communities in his local area. He is keen to offer a fresh perspective for local residents, listen to their concerns and help promote causes for improving our country. Rowan also recently graduated with a masters degree in Conflict Prevention and Peacebuilding; meaning he is well equipped to deal with the pressing global issues of the day in an informed manner.

It was at university that Rowan had his first experience of speaking up for his local community after being elected as the student representative for his academic department. He used this position to advocate for better student provision in key areas and won multiple awards for his work speaking up on behalf of his fellow students. Since graduating, Rowan has been passionate about housing policy, protecting our local environment, and ensuring that our local towns have the essential services they need to prosper.
