Anita Prabhakar

Anita Prabhakar is a Liberal Democrat candidate for Nottingham East.

Anita is a qualified solicitor with two master’s degrees one in constitutional law from Bengaluru, India, and other in corporate law from Nottingham Trent University. Anita is multilingual can speak Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, and little bit Urdu.

She believes that learning is a lifelong process and each child in the UK deserves the best education to fulfill his dreams and it is our duty to help the future generations in the best feasible way to flourish by providing free meals, good teacher, and decent homes.

Anita has been an active member of the party since she joined the Liberal democrats. She is a regional executive member and diversity champion of East Midlands.

According to her, human rights are an important principle of any democratic society. and she says that our aim should be to create a society where individuals can live freely, equally and with dignity. She is also a member, and secretary of “Rights Liberty and justice” a Lib Dem’s Lawyer Association.
