Tories short changing residents on housing

In a recent release the Tory leader bragged about the funding for new homes desperately needed in our area.

The bold claim of 1000 new homes, in reality works out as an 'aspiration for just over 300' homes. With no guarantees that even these 300 locations will be delivered either.

Local campaigner Duncan Lyons commented "the number of people on the waiting list to own a part share in a property far exceeds the rate at which the council is making these properties available, its just not good enough".
