Lambeth Lib Dems Respond to Ticket Office U-Turn

"We are absolutely delighted that the Government has been forced to roll back on these awful proposals, and that our ticket offices have been saved. The Government's plans would have adversely impacted elderly and vulnerable passengers across London. 

"Many Londoners rely on there being someone to speak to in person, whether to help buying tickets, assisting disabled passengers, or providing advice on delayed and cancelled journeys. It is vital that stations in Streatham, Vauxhall, and Waterloo remain staffed from the first to last trains.
