Solidarity with Leyton’s Muslim community

We are appalled to see mosques and buildings serving Leyton’s Muslim community and similar sites across London being vandalised with Islamophobic graffiti. We totally reject such hatred and hope the culprits are caught soon.

We have reached out to those affected by these incidents in our borough to offer our support.

Muslims are an integral part of Leyton’s richly diverse community; as we showed in Walthamstow last summer, we will always stand together against bigots who seek to harm our communities.
