Our Plan to Halve Your Energy Bills

Liberal Democrat Leader Ed Davey has set out bold plans to tackle soaring energy bills and end fuel poverty.

His proposals would launch a national home insulation programme, starting with the coldest, draughtiest homes – like many here in Grove Green. This could save families hundreds of pounds each year.

The plan also includes boosting cheap, clean renewable power and introducing a proper windfall tax on oil and gas giants to fund help for households.

Local campaigner Arran Angus said, “The Liberal Democrats are fighting to deliver warmer homes, lower bills, and a fairer, greener energy system for communities like Grove Green.”
