We strongly oppose Waltham Forest Council’s plan to cut extra support for residents receiving home care.

These are some of the borough’s most vulnerable people, and slashing the 25% uplift to the Minimum Income Guarantee (MIG) risks pushing them into real hardship.

Lib Dem campaigner Alan Jones said, “We urge the council to rethink. People in need deserve dignity and security — not more worry about food, warmth and care.”
