Stop Sewage Dumping
Sewage was released into our rivers and waterways more than 25,109 times in Scotland last year.
It is absolutely disgusting and the SNP/Green government should be ashamed for allowing it to continue.
Yet this is probably only the tip of the iceberg, as Scotland only monitors 7% of sewage overflows, compared to 100% in England, so the true scale of this problem is likely much larger.
Stop Sewage Dumping
We need an acceleration of measures to upgrade Scotland's Victorian sewage systems and prevent sewage being dumped 21,660 times into our rivers and onto our beaches.
