Scot Lib Dems comment on MacNeil expulsion

Responding to Angus MacNeil's expulsion from the SNP, Liberal Democrat Scottish Affairs spokesperson Christine Jardine MP said:

"It will be a disappointment to his constituents that the thing that triggered a split between Angus MacNeil and his party was a belief that the nationalists were not campaigning hard enough to break up the UK, rather than his government's repeated failure to deliver a working ferry network or tackle long waits for healthcare.

"The nationalist party is getting tired and irritable. How can they stand up for Scotland when they can't stand one another?"
