Cole-Hamilton responds to life expectancy stats

Responding to new figures which show that life expectancy at birth in Scotland continues to be the lowest of all UK nations, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Alex Cole-Hamilton MSP said:

“The SNP are holding Scotland back. From long delays for cancer treatment to endless waiting lists for operations, their failures are directly harming some of the most vulnerable Scots.

“After eighteen years, the SNP do not deserve another chance. Scottish Liberal Democrats have a realistic plan to get everyone the healthcare they need, when they need it. Next May, you can vote for that plan by backing us on your second, peach-coloured, regional ballot paper.”
