Tracey Warman
Galloway and West Dumfries
I moved from East Sussex to Dumfries and Galloway in 2017 and love the new life I have here. I worked in finance for 33 years before taking early retirement in 2019. Since then I have been self employed as a relief dairy hand, concentrating mainly in calf rearing around farms in Galloway, retaining to my first passion.
I volunteer for our local community shop once a week and am a member of the Community Council. I enjoy swimming in the sea all year round and in 2023 was a founding member of a women’s swimming group which has grown more to 370 members - we were even featured on the latest BBC Scotland series of Jules and Greg’s Wild Swim.
I enjoy long distance running and have been lucky enough in the past to have run in Kenya and Ethiopia as part of a FarmAfrica team.
I wanted to stand as a Candidate to enable me to give a voice to local concerns AB’s to be able to actively make a change people’s lives for the better. I stand by the Liberal principle of fairness for all and strive to bring that principle into my everyday life . I genuinely enjoy meeting people and take pleasure in listening and helping where ever I can.
This is a very uncertain time and I am standing to bring an equilibrium back into every day life for the people of Dumfries and Galloway.
