Caron Lindsay
Candidate for Almond Valley
Caron Lindsay has lived in Livingston for 24 years. She was the Liberal Democrat candidate for Almond Valley in the Scottish Parliamentary elections in 2021 and for Livingston in the UK General Election in 2024.
She is currently the President of the Scottish Liberal Democrats and spokesperson for Social Security.
In her day job, she helps people with all sorts of problems, from healthcare to social security to housing.
Caron wants to see a society where everyone is free to live the best life that they can. She believes that too many are held back by poverty, lack of decent housing and ill health and that needs to change. She wants to see better support for unpaid carers. She is particularly concerned that so many young people are waiting for years to be diagnosed with ADHD and Autism. If elected, these will be her priorities.
