Andy Williamson
Candidate for Edinburgh South Western
Andy Williamson is a local business owner based in Edinburgh. He previously ran an education business in Seattle, USA supporting neurodivergent students and co-founded a mental health private practice for teenagers and young people. Through that work, he has spent many years helping young people navigate challenges in education and wellbeing.
Andy is standing to become an MSP because he believes Scotland needs a more forward-looking approach to education, economic growth, and opportunity for young people. He is a campaigner for smartphone-free schools and is particularly passionate about improving support for neurodivergent people and helping Scotland become a place where new ideas and businesses can thrive.
