TELECARE UNDER THREAT FROM BUDGET CUTS

Alan Reid has called on the Argyll & Bute Health & Social Care Partnership (HSCP) not to cut the Emergency Responder Service, known as Telecare.
The HSCP have put Telecare on the list of Budget cuts they are considering for 2026/27.
Alan says, “Telecare is a very important service which many vulnerable people rely on. They could be left without essential assistance for many hours or even days if this service were to be withdrawn.”
