Denise Gaines, Julian Swift-Hook & Tony Vickers

Denise Gaines is a former councillor for Hungerford, having lived in the town for 26 years. Denise is passionate about young peoples’ education and well-being, and has previously been a govenor at John O’Gaunt school and was the first Chair of Hungerford Youth & Community Centre.

She has served several terms as a Hungerford Town Councillor, with her other political interests include tackling climate change and ensuring housing meets local need.

Julian Swift-Hook has lived in West Berkshire for 40 years and is the founder of Kennet Radio.

A West Berkshire councillor for 15 years, he was the driving force behind the restoration of Greenham Common Control Tower. Julian is also on the board of Community United, which promotes community cohesion across West Berkshire and beyond.

Tony Vickers is a former councillor for Kintbury, and has in total 17 years worth of experience on the District Council, having lived in West Berkshire since 1980.

Tony is a retired army officer and local planning expert, with a PhD and several funded research projects to his name. In his spare time Tony likes to relax by taking walks in the beautiful Hungerford & Kintbury countryside, an area that he is passionate about and determined to see thrive.
