Richard Bucknall
Dr Richard Bucknall was born and raised in West Berkshire and has lived in Bradfield Southend for over 20 years. He is married with a son currently at university.
Richard has government, industry and academic experience as a professional chartered engineer, and wants to bring his knowledge to West Berkshire as your councillor.
Richard feels the Conservatives have taken rural communities for granted for too long and it’s time for a fresh start for our area. He wants to see improvements in roads, better traffic management in villages, and protection of the environment.
He is passionate about education and businesses working in rural communities and wants to ensure that they get a fairer deal from West Berkshire Council. He knows that the ongoing cost of living crisis is particularly hurting the less well off in rural areas and wants to make sure that support is there for those who really need it.
