Join Donal O'Hanlon and the Liberal Democrats in the fight for better healthcare in the Upper Valley.
We are campaigning alongside residents and patient groups to establish an Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) at Todmorden Health Centre.
Despite years of NHS negotiations, political involvement has been minimal. The outgoing MP for Calder Valley expressed support, but no significant action has followed.
The Todmorden Medical Centre is underused, with many rooms left empty, causing frustration among residents.
An Urgent Treatment Centre in Todmorden would benefit the entire community. Residents in the Upper Valley currently face lengthy and complex journeys to reach the nearest A&E. A local UTC would provide convenient, timely care and help reduce A&E waiting times for everyone in Calderdale.

Petition for an NHS Urgent Treatment Centre in Todmorden
We, the undersigned, support the campaign to establish an NHS Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) at Todmorden Health Centre. Residents in the Upper Valley face lengthy journeys to reach their nearest Accident & Emergency (A&E) department. A local UTC in Todmorden would offer essential medical care for non-life-threatening conditions, providing residents with timely and convenient treatment. Additionally, this centre would help alleviate pressure and reduce waiting times at the A&E department in Calderdale Royal Hospital.
