Comment: Finsbury Park devastation

Responding to the scenes at Finsbury Park over the weekend, Cllr Luke Cawley-Harrison (LD-Crouch End), Leader of the Opposition on Haringey Council, said:

“The destruction which Haringey Council allowed to be wreaked on Finsbury Park over the weekend is disgraceful. It is not fair on residents, who will be living with this mud bowl for weeks if not months, and the Labour-run council cannot credibly say that they have been taken by surprise given the nature of the event. Haringey needs to urgently confirm who is responsible for cleaning up this mess, and how they will do so”
