Our Priorities for Bounds Green
1) Competence
We both live right here in Bounds Green, and are running to be your local councillors because we care about fixing the basics.
From dealing with dangerous junctions to fixing lighting and pavements, we will stand up for Bounds Green.
We need a council, and local councillors, that help, listen, and respond to residents' concerns.
2) Compassion
We will keep residents safe by cracking down on rogue landlords, fixing dangerous defects and ending damp and mould in social housing and pushing to restore the size of the police team in Bounds Green.
3) Community
After leading the creation of our community pub, we will take that energy to reinvigorate our parks and public spaces, listening to residents, and putting their voices at the heart of our actions.
About Us
Dan Jones
Dan is a Bounds Green local, bringing up his family here, and campaigning hard for the area he calls home.
He founded and led a society that brought 550 residents together to create the Hillbilly Social on Myddleton Road, and has helped local residents with serious housing issues.
This has included taking the fight to Labour-run Haringey Council over their use of unscrupulous HMO landlords in Bounds Green. A story which attracted national coverage in The Guardian.
Dan has a track record of bringing positive change to Bounds Green. He is tired of residents being ignored by the council and wants to ensure your voice is heard.
Asli Nicolaou
Asli has lived in Bounds Green for the past 18 years, and cares deeply about the local area and the wonderful community we have here.
As a seasoned, professional interpreter, Asli has developed a profound understanding of the local issues and the specific needs of her neighbours. Her extensive experience enables her to connect with community members on a personal level, fostering trust and open communication.
In addition to her interpreting work, she is deeply committed to advocating for families facing housing challenges, recognising the vital link between stable housing, health, and education.
Asli is passionate about empowering those around her, ensuring that everyone has access to the resources and support they need to thrive.

One of the most important things you can do – apart from voting of course – is allow us to put up one of our orange signs at the front of your property.
You will be familiar with them - the orange diamond boards, similar to an estate agent’s sign, which say ‘Liberal Democrats’ on them. They are by far the best way to show how much support there is locally and remind people to vote.
