Tackling nuisance electric motorbikes

Lib Dem Councillors have met with the local police to demand action against illegal and unregistered electric motorbikes.

These nuisance bikes are often ridden dangerously on paths and through green spaces. 

The police carried out a large raid on a property linked to these bikes, as well as drug dealing, and made an arrest. 

Sutton Council Leader Barry Lewis, said: “These bikes are a real nuisance. Lib Dems will continue to work with the police and council to crack down on them.”
