Supporting Wallington’s heritage and community
Wallington’s old town hall and library gardens are beloved local landmarks that make our area special.
After your local councillors raised concerns, the council deep-cleaned the fountain in the library gardens and safely removed a large number of fish, and repaired the broken bench in the Rose Garden.
On 8th November, your local councillors hosted the Saturday Remembrance event outside the town hall, attended by Bobby Dean MP and local residents.
The annual Christmas lights switch-on and free Santa’s grotto will also take place there on 28th November from 4.30pm. Your Councillors are part of the All in Wallington group that organises and runs the local event.
With the Lib Dems, Wallington’s heritage will continue to benefit.
