It’s leaf-fall season again! With around 17,000 street trees across our borough, there are plenty of leaves to clear.

The council bring in dedicated extra staff from late October to the end of December to help with leaf clearance and target roads with the most trees.

Residents and community groups also help each year, and the council can provide waste sacks and collection.

Cllr Barry Lewis said: “Thank you to the council teams for all their hard work. While it’s not possible to keep every street leaf-free, residents can report urgent build-ups on the council website – sutton.gov.uk – or by calling 020 8770 5000.”
