Community cares for Wallington Library Gardens

The local community has come together to help care for Wallington Library Gardens.

Volunteers from the Heathdene Area Residents Group joined local councillors to trim and weed the lavender beds. The council will also deep-clean the garden fountain over the summer.

Cllr Muhammad Sadiq, said:
“We’re grateful to residents helping keep the gardens looking their best.

“We would love to form a new Friends of Wallington Library Gardens group to help care for the space long-term— please get in touch if you would be interested.”
