Calls grow for Labour councillor to resign

Hackbridge residents are calling on Labour Councillor Sheldon Vestey to resign after a council investigation found he breached the Councillors’ Code of Conduct.

The investigation found that he allegedly bullied and harassed people, failed to treat others with respect, and misused council resources.

To make matters worse, Private Eye revealed that Cllr Vestey has moved nearly 1,000 miles away to Spain and is refusing to attend council meetings, leaving residents feeling abandoned.
