Anyone for Tennis? Courts to be improved

Tennis courts at Stanley Park and Corrigan Recreation Ground will undergo improvements as part of a major £500,000 refurbishment of 24 of the borough’s courts.

Lib Dem Sutton Council is delivering the changes with the Lawn Tennis Association.

A new booking system to manage fair access to the courts and a small user charge to keep the courts in a good condition will be introduced.

Time will also be made  available for priority groups such as children, schools and players with disabilities who will be able to book for free.
