Covering all Folkestone & Hythe District Council wards EXCEPT North Downs East and North Downs West
New boundaries for the 2024 General Election.
About Folkestone and Hythe Constituency
From the 2024 General Election, the Parliamentary Constituency of Folkestone and Hythe will include the District of Folkestone and Hythe wards of Broadmead, Cheriton, East Folkestone, Folkestone Central, Folkestone Harbour, Hythe, Hythe Rural, New Romney, Romney Marsh, Sandgate & West Folkestone, Walland & Denge Marsh.
The electorate will be reduced to bring it within the permitted range by transferring out the North Downs area in the north (North Downs East and North Downs West wards), along with the parts in the Borough of Ashford (Saxon Shore ward), primarily to the reconfigured constituency of Ashford.
Kent Lib Dems Press for Action on Drain Cleaning to Tackle Flooding
At a special County Council meeting on Thursday 13th March Lib Dem Councillors questioned the commitment of both Kent County Council; and the government to tackling road flooding in in Kent. Areas of Shepway have been particularly hit with flash flooding in recent years.

Folkestone Town Council Takes Action on Fire Cuts
A special meeting of Folkestone Town Council on Wednesday at University Centre, Folkestone unanimously condemned the recent cut to Folkestone Fire Services and pledged to collate figures to lobby for the reinstatement of the cut services.
