About Matt:
Matt Bushell works for Mole Valley farmers as an agricultural steel fabricator and is currently studying for a degree through the Open University. He is well known by many as a former scout leader and his mother, Ann Bushell was the community midwife in the area.
As a member of South Molton Town Council, he was the chair of the Neighbourhood Plan steering group. This group is consulting on the future of South Molton and when adopted will have legal status regarding aspects of the town’s development. Matt is chair of the Arts Destination South Molton project and is encouraging a wide range of arts and events in the town.
Formerly vice chairman of the Devon Association of Local Councils (DALC) Matt has represented Devon and South Molton in national forums and conferences.
