About Liz:
”My career was in banking. In 1966 I met Derrick at an event in Braunton Parish Hall. Well, the rest is history! We have two grown up daughters and eight grandchildren.
In 1991 I was elected to Braunton Parish Council. Later that year I won a seat on the District Council in a by-election. Elected Chair of Personnel, I enjoyed working with the staff. Equally I value my ongoing involvement with the Parish Council and its community.
At the May 2019 District and Parish Elections I regained my District Council seat. I was also re-elected to Braunton Parish Council and was honoured to be elected Chair in May 2019 and I have continued as Chair through these difficult and challenging times, working daily with the Clerk and other Councillors”
