Repair Cafe

Councillor Louisa York opened the first repair café in Barnstaple at St John’s Community Centre. ”The café is a place where volunteers repair household items that would otherwise get thrown away” said Louisa. “These are tough times for everyone. It makes sense to mend stuff rather than throw it away”.
The Repair Cafe is a partnership between Plastic Free North Devon and Barnstaple Town Council. For more details of the next cafe, look out for details on Facebook
