Liberal Democrat Parliamentary candidate Ian Sollom for St Neots and Mid Cambridgeshire has said that this is ‘our chance to bring change’ in the constituency.

At the last General Election in 2019, Ian Sollom came within 2,904 of unseating the Conservatives in South Cambs.

In the St Neots and Mid Cambridgeshire seat, which includes a large part of South Cambs, the Lib Dems have been winning council by-elections and getting more of the vote across the area in local elections.

Liberal Democrat candidate Ian Sollom will be campaigning for action to save our NHS, tackle the cost of living crisis, and and making our streets safer.

Responding to Rishi Sunak calling a General Election, Liberal Democrat Parliamentary candidate for St Neots and Mid Cambridgeshire, Ian Sollom said:

“This election is our chance to bring change to St Neots and Mid Cambridgeshire and get an MP who can stand up for our area.

“The Conservatives of Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss have let us all down. With a great track record in recent local and national elections, the Lib Dems are best placed to get the Conservatives out in St Neots and Mid Cambridgeshire. It will be very close here, so every vote will count.

“I and my family have made St Neots my home, and we love it here. But we have experienced first hand how hard it is to even get an appointment at the GP. My priority is to fight for better NHS GP and dental services across the constituency.”
