Job Title: Training and Conference Officer
Reporting to: Chief Executive
Contract: Fulltime
Salary: £26k - £28K
Location: Hybrid – Scotland/ Edinburgh and home working

 

 

GENERAL               
1. To map out, design, and deliver a full offer of training and development accessible to all members online and in person.
2. To work with staff and stakeholders to ensure that the offer to members of training and engagement through workshops and participation at conferences is effectively communicated. 

CONFERENCE
2.1 Work with the conference/ events officer on the delivery of two conferences for members per annum.
2.2 Work with staff and stakeholders to assist with the delivery of regional events and conferences.
2.3 Work with staff and stakeholders to assist with the delivery of policy roadshows etc across Scotland.

ELECTIONS
3. During election periods, assist the Party in any way reasonably requested. To assist with events and training and support for members as appropriate.


TRAINING
3.1 Work with staff and stakeholders to design, coordinate, communicate, and ensure the delivery of a comprehensive training program for members online and in person across Scotland in line with the 150 Rising Strategy.
3.2 Work with staff and stakeholders to design, coordinate, communicate, and ensure the delivery of training for candidates at all levels across Scotland.

3.3 Work with staff and stakeholders to mainstream and deliver the annual Future Leaders Programme.

4 Any other duties – undertake any other reasonable duties as deemed appropriate by your line manager.
