Sally Symington

Candidate for South West Hertfordshire

General Election - 4 July 2024

Sally Symington

Sally Symington is the Liberal Democrat candidate for South West Hertfordshire. A current local councillor for Hertfordshire County Council and Dacorum Borough Council, Sally has a strong track record of representing local residents and putting them first. As a life-long resident of Hertfordshire, Sally understands the issues faced by our communities and she has the experience to deliver the change we need.

Too many MPs are career politicians with no understanding of life in the real world. Sally had a successful career in the finance industry, has raised a family and worked across many voluntary organisations to improve lives in the community. As a trustee of the Chiltern Conservation Board, she is working to protect our green spaces for future generations and ensuring our precious local chalk streams are saved from raw sewage.

Improving local healthcare is top priority for Sally. From caring for elderly relatives to securing healthcare for children and young people, she has seen at first hand the importance of having high quality NHS facilities accessible to all in community.
