Simon Thorley

Candidate for Darlington

General Election - 4 July 2024

Simon Thorley

Simon Thorley is the Liberal Democrat Candidate for Darlington.

Simon was born and raised and currently lives in the town. He runs a successful education business, which operates in twenty countries around the world from its Darlington base.

Simon's political foundation is his passion for freedom, opportunity and justice. Combatting prejudice and expanding horizons are what drew him both to a career in education and to stand for Parliament.

Simon's top priorities in Darlington are to address our scandalously high rates of child poverty and our failing public transport. He will also protect our A&E department, which has too often been threatened with closure.

Simon will be the real local champion which Darlington badly needs.
