Stamford Brook Deserves Proper Bus Stops!

Local campaigner Barbara Gerard is calling on Transport for Greater Manchester to formally create and install proper bus stops on Turnbull Road and Stamford Brook Road. At present, there are no designated bus stop spaces anywhere along these roads. Buses stop informally at the roadside, leaving schoolchildren, older residents, and commuters waiting in unsafe, exposed locations — with no marked stopping points, no signage, no shelter, and no safe waiting area. This puts residents at risk and makes using public transport harder than it should be.
