Trafford Council admit they forgot 'New Road Layout' Signs

Following the success of the petition signed by 600 residents, Timperley has a new pelican crossing. Lots of people have approached me to say it's a benefit.

But there has been a debate about the number of drivers zooming through without stopping and why this happens.

I read all the comments I could find. We cannot make bad drivers disappear, but I reckon there are three things we can actually ask the Council to fix. So I raised a Formal Question to the Council's Executive to ask:

1.  Fixing the Vehicle Activated Sign outside St Georges was promised as part of this – why isn't it done?
    
2. Why are there no signs saying "New Road Layout Ahead" on the approach?
    
3. Are the street lights bright enough to see waiting pedestrians at night?

All these are now going to be looked at and fixed – hopefully soon.
