New Bus Seating on Riddings Road

In the New Year, I was asked if we can get some seating for the bus stops along Riddings Road.

This is because some people find it difficult to stand on their feet too long when waiting for the bus, and they'd really appreciate a seat.

So I wrote to the Facilities Team at Transport for Greater Manchester to ask them to make this happen.

They have now written back to me and confirmed they can install seating on some of the bus shelters where the pavements are quite wide.

TfGM are going to focus on the stops where they get the most passengers first, most likely the Tabley-Riddings stop and the Riddings-Woodhouse Lane East stop.
