Lib Dems get new closed-top bin to replace the old Fox-prone one

Timperley residents have been asking the Lib Dems to replace the open bin at the Riddings Road & Woodhouse Lane East Junction with a closed bin - to stop the foxes getting at the contents.

Dodging the rubbish and dog waste bags the foxes scatter on the pavement is unpleasant for people walking to and from Woodhouse Lane East, including parents and children going to school first thing.

Amey have been telling the Trafford Lib Dems there were no major problems, but that's because by the time they arrived - local residents had often volunteered to tidy it up themselves.

Thank you to the people living nearby who have been sending Cllr Frass early morning photos, which helped him persuade Trafford Council & Amey to change it.
