How to get funding to improve your shop front in Timperley

Government funding - through Trafford Council - is currently available to support businesses who want to improve their shop front - including shops in Timperley.

Lib Dems were frustrated that previous funds like this have been restricted to "Town Centres" so Timperley missed out. But now this fund is open to "Village Centres" like Timperley too.

50:50 Match Funded

The scheme provides a one-off grant of up to £10,000 to support up to half of the refurbishment costs of retail premises for things like:

•  Frontage improvements
• Signage
• Access Improvements
• Interior refurbishment and decoration
• Windows and door replacement
• External/internal lighting

 Deadline: 30 June 2025

...but applications could close earlier if the funding is used up!
